Job Summary

We are seeking for a Media Manager with confident communication and people skills. Media Managers are expected to possess superb project management and organizational skills with the ability to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, Media Manager should demonstrate a wide degree of creativity and latitude with a keen interest in shaping an organization’s image and values through appropriate communication to the outside world. Develop and implement all targeted content for various media platforms. Media manager research, write, proofread and edit all media content, implement and campaigns, and deliver public relations and communications plans.

Duties & Responsibilities

1.  Writes and publishes a creative blog-post or devotional time to time as per guidance of Business Development Head.

2.  Writes an informative article about a recent project of the bank in the website.

3.  Captures, and edits photos depicting GB projects, programs, and events.

4.  Designs and maintains GB website as needed.

5.  To maintain the editing of advertisements.

6.  To maintain the hard and soft copy of audio-visual printed publications.

7.  To maintain the soft and hard copy of contracts.

8.  To control the cost of media within the limits of power and approved budget, monitoring the period of contracts and paying the relevant taxes.

9.  Designs graphics for various marketing needs and social media posts.

10. Manages and posts time to time on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn) with high standards in a way that targets and engages specific audiences; also interacts with followers and supporters in a timely and kind-hearted manner.

11. Designs and produces all major and minor print publications such as newsletters, catalogs, calendars, and brochure cards according to publication calendar and as needed.

12. Designs other marketing materials such as apparel, event banners, and online advertisements (including Facebook ads and customized landing pages).

13. Works with fellow staff members and supervisors to brainstorm, develop, and create new media engagement opportunities and items.

14. Appropriately manage the organization’s media budget.

15. Develop content with attraction in English, Dari and Pashto.

16. Develop the design of bank official magazine time to time.

17. Installation, monitoring and reporting bank advertisement in billboards.

18. Understand client expectations and liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction.

19. Identify press opportunities through evolving issues.

20. Scan media marketplace to keep up to date on the latest media trends.

21. Negotiate with media channels to close competitive deals.

22. To be ensure that all the advertisement contracts (TV advertisement, Radio, Billboards and etc) are updated.

23. To be ensure that all the printed materials are in good quality and standard.

24. To be ensure that all the Audio-visual printed advertisements are regularly published, tracked and monitored based on contract.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Media or related (essential). Master Degree in Related Field would be preferred.

Shall have at least 2 or 3 years of professional experience in Media or similar fields.

1.Fluency in English, Dari and Pashto languages in written and verbal communication skills
